ACCOMMODATIONS / LAYOUT:

The Catalina 34 offers an aft cabin with large double berth, a hanging locker and two opening ports. Large storage space underneath cabin seat.

Forward is main salon with U shaped settee and dining table which converts to double be d.. The port settee can be used as a single berth. Salon has 4 opening ports (with noseeum screens) and overhead hatch for good ventilation.

Upgraded lighting had been added. Teak and holly sole throughout.

The galley is starboard as you enter the main cabin. Double s/s sink, refrigerator, propane stove with oven and adequate counter space make this a very functional galley. A small fold up table at the end of the counter adds additional work space when needed.

The nav station is opposite to port with great access to the electrical panel, radios, battery monitor, Nav station counter lifts up with additional storage inside.

A fully enclosed head w/shower is to port as you enter main cabin, offering easy accessibility to cockpit and both cabins; Additional storage areas added to head.

The forward cabin provides roomy v berth with large overhead hatch, 2 opening ports, hanging locker, drawer and shelf storage.

My wife and I are only the 3rd owners. We have taken this boat from California, through the Panama Canal. Columbia to Honduras. Were now ready to move on to new adventures. To make her a worthy cruiser we have upgraded much of the original equipment, and added new cruising equipment.

The Catalina 34 is one of the most popular designs from Catalina Yachts. There is good access to engine and transmission. The interior is open and functional for cruising and living aboard.
