Formosa 41 built in 1978 to respected William Garden design. Equipped for long term cruising.

These were strong built boats that can take a lot of serious beating. The hulls are extremely thick in the best places. Once in the thinnest point in the hull, to install a transducer I found 3/4" thick solid fiberglass. No core. My ketch sailed very well in big swells and was a comfortable ride for me and the ship's cat. The living space is large and had a nice shower. It was fun to sail and at about 16+ tons, you won't be winning any races, but at a rough anchorage, she is always comfortable when the others are moving in the middle of the night to find a smoother ride. She carried a lot of fuel, water, and provisions.

Accom for 4/6 in 2 cabins & saloon

Well balanced, long keeled cruising ketch with a thick GRP hull and superstructure. . Equipped to go around the world with a cosy solid teak interior, makes for a very attractive yacht.
Comfortable galley and large bathroom and separate shower cubicle. Ideally suited to a couple, who want to cruise extensively with space for guests.

Her owner did a great job removing the teak decking , so no more soft deck areas on this boat
