Marine Trading International

History
Marine Trader started operations in the 1968 and by the early '70's, was a major player in the burgeoning trawler market in the US, they imported over 3,000 boats, more by far than any other importer in the country. Their boats were produced at a number of different yards in Taiwan. Cheap labor and material costs along with skilled wood workers were the right combination for producing inexpensive trawlers overseas, that the American boater wanted to buy. By the end of the 1980's thousands of Marine Traders of all types where imported into the country. Today, these economical vessels remain very popular and give their owners a cost effective way to go cruising. Whether doing the Great Circle Loop, cruising the coast or relaxing in the Carribean, there is a Marine Trader model to suit your needs.
