Ocean winds cruising catamaran were build in England to handle North Sea Conditions. This boat will get you there and back safely. She is heavily constructed and was touted to be among the best cruising boats on the market in her day. Her load carrying capacity is enormous, and she has 1” bulkheads and is polystyrene filled for the first 8’ of the forward amas. Her windows are Triplex. Her keels are flat and she can be beached without damaging props or rudders. This boat being the designer own vessel she boast even more equipment than normal and she has done a fair bit of travel. Ocean Winds has crossed the Atlantic, has been up the Amazon, has been as far north as Lake Champlain and Canada, and has cruised extensively throughout Florida, the Bahamas, and the Caribbean. She was then used as Captained charter service operating out of the Rio Dulce in Guatemala. Ocean Winds is a US documented vessel, and is fully set up and ready for single handed round the world cruising.
.Like all catamarans, her interior is double the space of a mono-hull. She has two full size cabin, full galley and good access to engines.
